A Day in a Life in Nepal

We wanted to include some elements of life here in Nepal that have taken adjusting. These include:

  • Thin cotton mattresses
  • Daily power outages
  • Connecting battery power
  • Using a mosquito net
  • Cooking with gas
  • Outdoor shopping
  • Hand washing clothes outside
  • Filtering water ourselves
  • Riding a motorbike

The hardest adjustments have probably been being stared at constantly, learning the language, losing privacy.

If you’ve been to Nepal or a nearby area, leave us a comment about what you found took the most adjusting.
